The world wants you to shrink and fit into the idea of the IDEAL WOMAN. The world needs you to maintain the status quo because that means less disruption. The world doesn’t care about where it hurts; it just wants to maintain an order, an order where some thrive and others survive.

Whether we choose to admit it or not, we constantly make choices that determine the quality of our lives. Whether we take a stand or not, we have chosen a path. As time passes by, it’s our duty to choose how we want to spend it, actively or passively. Alas, many of us are passive about our existence but have no clue!

Why are you in that job you hate so much?

Why do you have friends that make you feel sick?

Why do you keep clothes you do not like?

Why do you do things you hate?

Why do you put off reading that book?

Why do you put off getting that degree?

Why do you procrastinate so badly?

Why do you distract yourself from the truth?

Why do you seek opinions that confine you?

Why does the perfect selfie matter?

Why can’t you leave the house without your concealer on?

Why do you cringe when you see someone live in his or her fullness?

Why does the truth of others scare the crap out of you?

Why does your truth terrify you?

Why are you hiding your truth?

Various circumstances in life make us choose paths that are unfulfilling but ‘just okay’. We choose to survive rather than thrive because the world makes us feel ungrateful for not being content with what we have, even though what we have isn’t what we really need.

Have you ever been in a situation where the fear of uncertainty kept you from blossoming? The fear of ‘what if’

Are you worthy of the life you secretly wish for? Know there is no blue print, nobody has lived your life, so nobody can make your decisions.

Own your mistakes, face your demons, disrupt the status quo and decide to fight for the life you know you deserve, the road will be bumpy as usual but the good news is, you are choosing your bumps.

The strongest of mankind are those who aren’t afraid to be vulnerable, through vulnerability they allow courage seep into their hearts and with courage the possibilities are endless!
